Notes: Thomas Johnes (1748 – 1816) two handwritten and signed letter dated May 5, 1812 and December 1, 1813. Johnes was a Member of Parliament, a landscape architect, farmer, printer, writer and social benefactor. He is best known for his development of the Hafod Estate in Wales on which he spent almost the entirety of his wealth. Dimensions: 9" x 7" VG condition with folds.
