Notes: Acceptable brown leather embossed boards with gilt lettering along spine, gilt page edges. Binding tight and square; hinges show cracking. Pages damp stained, foxing. Front board detached on v.2; v.1 - 568 pp., v.2 - 576 pp. Damp staining on many pages, but most of the etchings do not have damp staining. Marbled endpapers. Fewer dampstaining on volume 2. There are about 24 black and white tissued etchings in each volume plus regular illustrations. Shelf wear on covers and bumped corners. Text blocks very square and intact. Each size 13x10x2". Heavy.
