Notes: Signed letter postscript from John Taylor Arms (1887-1953), dated 27/1/1948 transmitted by Arms's agent as Arms was deceased when request for autograph made. Arms was a well-known American artist and etcher. He wrote the Handbook of Print Making and Print Makers and was a member of the National Academy of Design. His works are displayed throughout the world. The offering is 1.5" x 7.24 with a fold line and partial tear along the line. The postscript involves an artistic business matter and is interesting in its own right. Good conditgion overall.
