Notes: Autograph of LT. CMDR. CHARLES BRENDLER, as leader of the U.S. Navy Band, dated Nov. 27, 1950. Also signed by Richard Townsend, the assistant Band leader. Brendler entered the Navy in 1913 and became Lt. Cmdr in 1947. He served at Assistant Conductor (1938-1942) then conductor and officer in charge 1942-1962. Dimensions: 4.25" x 6" in Vg condition with two punch holes. Additional photos available upon request. All items carefully packed to avoid damage from moisture and rough handling. Sku: 035737
