Milner was a British Statesman who served as Governor of Cape of Good Hope (1897-1901); Governor of Transfaal and Orange River Colonies and High /comissioner for South Africa (1897-1905). Played major role in guiding British foreign polity from 1895 to early 1920s and was a key member of David Lloyd George's War Cabined from 1916 to end of WW I. Led mission to Egypt in 1919 that recommended Independence. Dimensions: 5.25" x 7" in VG condition; small smudge on signature. Additional photos available upon request.
