Notes: Autograph of Doris B Ball. Josephine Bell, pseudonym of Doris Bell Collier, (8 December 1897 - 24 April 1987), was an English physician and writer. Bell wrote nineteen novels and forty-five mystery novels in her lifetime, as well as radio plays, short stories, and series for women's magazines. Dimensions: 3" x 5" in very good condition with her name and note in ink. Note says" 16-10-71, Dear Mr. Pitts, I enclose my autograph in my writing name, Josephine Bell. I am sorry, but I have no photograph of myself available Yours sincerely Doris B. Ball". Back has notes in pencil, including 10-16-71 date. Additional photos available upon request.
