Notes: Signed letter from Edward White Benson (1892-1896) Archbishop of Canterbury (1882-1896) on Lambeth Palace Stationary. Benson was the first Bishop of Truro (1877-1883) where he began construction of Truro Cathedral. Letter, dated 18 March 1892 addressed to Archdeacon Farrar states: "I wish, if all be well, take the Service on Tuesday at one, as you wish, myself. Will you let me know exactly what you propose for this service." Dimensions: 6" x 4.5". In VG condition with center crease. Additional photos available upon request.
