Notes: Signed drawing by George Poulton (1828-1867) dated 9th Jan. '63 entitled "You can't move him Recollections of Yates & Powsis Entertainment". George Poulton was a 19th Century English artist, musician and composer. On reverse side is an eight line note from George Scharf (1820-1895) dated April 25th, 1863. Scharf was an English writer on art and served as first secretary of the National Portrait Gallery (1857) and then director (1888). Sku: 035222
