(Albert) Meredith Davies (1922 -2005) was a British conductor, renowned for his advocacy of English music by composers such as Benjamin Britten, Frederick Delius and Ralph Vaughan Williams. Dimensions: 3" x 5" in very good condition. Cards are signed on front with black pen with his name and To Mr Roy Pitts Vancouver BC on one and Best wishes to M Roy Pitts on the other. Reverse of one has seller notes in pencil of 3/13/68 date, the other is blank on the reverse. Additional photos available upon request.
