Notes: Autographed two page letter signed by the Archbishop of Dublin, Richard Cheneviz Trench(1807-1886) on Octobber 5, 1871. Letter to local pastor, Rev. Hoare, regarding obtaining a sermon from Lord O'Neill. Trench served as Archbishop of Dublin from 1863 to 1884. He was a poet and an author of lyrics, sonnets and hymns, as wll as a noted philologist. Dimensions unopened: 7" x 4.5". VG condition. Some bleeding of ink onto blank page.
