Notes: Signed handwritten letter by John Morley (1838-1923), dated March 6, 1905 Sent from Flowerhead, Wimbledon Park. Morley was Chief Secretary for Ireland from 1892-1895 and the Secretary of State for India between 1905 and 1911. He was also a journalist who opposed imperialism and the Boer War and Supported Home Rule for Ireland. Letter dimensions: 8” x 5”.
