Notes: This is one of a series of Lithhographs by Max Liebermann made for Paul Cassirer’s De Kriegszeit Periodical (The War Time) between August 2014 and April 2016. This Periodical was largely supportive of the War Effort and drew contributions by famous German Jewish artists such as Max Liebermann. Funds from sales wwere distributed to struggling artists. This lithograph was published on the front page of the 24 December 1914 edition and is entitled “Marsch, Marsch, Hurrah” and s plate signed by Liebermann. The composition dimensions are 12 3/16 x 11 5/16". The lithograph has been carefully tipped in and preserved with cardboard backing. No tears or creases. Printing on verso. A total of 15 similar lithographs from De Kriegszeit, including 14 by Liebermann, are listed and available for sale individually or in a lot. Additional photos available upon request.
