Acceptable flexible leather and red velvet cover with gilt lettering on cover; brown other side of velvet on spine. Some of the leather cover is missing. Loose pages each with 3 holes probably were formerly held together with string. Clean and unmarked. Has introductory page and then about 100 etchings of famous men of Wisconsin including their name. Printed on quality yellow paper. A few of the holes are torn out, but pages are in good condition in general. Suitable for framing. The intro says these drawings were originally printed in the Milwaukee Journal. There are no dates listed. Pages are 7.75 x 12.25". From the intro: "In the spirit of friendliness and with malice towards none, The Milwaukee Journal prepared a series of cartoons of business and professional men of Wisconsin who have come to the front in various lines of endeavor."
