Notes: 30 Volumes Complete. Very good red three-quarter leather boards with gilt lettering along spine. Bindings and hinges tight and square; Contents clean and unmarked. No dust jackets. Marbled endpapers, 5 raised bands, gilt top page edges, deckled side edges, tissued frontispieces, black and white illustrations, Autograph edition. Some bumped corners and crush to head and tail of spines. A few pages are uncut as they would've come from the publisher indicating the books were not used very much. Red leather comes off on hands a little in areas where there was rubbing on spine edges. Small chips on spines of Martin Chuzzlewit and Oliver Twist. Great Expectations has a darkened spine. On all Spines: says Charles Dickens, Volume number, title of Book, picture of 4 roses, and says London 1900, all in gilt. Sku: 045059
